Cidade das Abelhas [Bees city]
This is a different place, proper to enjoy nature being located in a wide area of 'Mata Atlântica'. The importance of the bees' life is shown during the tour (which is deemed the most useful among the insects' species)  together with the ecology and entertainment. 
The purpose is the awareness for the nature preservation. 
The cultural interests accompanies by sliding, small ecologic trail and jumper (a toy for children up to 8 years old having small bees motif). Visits are not monitored, although all explanations are well-viewed.  No appointment is required. 

Embu das Artes Cultural Center
This offers freely to public the access to art, culture and knowledge. The Cultural Center occupies the city hall historic building. There, the visitors' access three exhibition rooms and Cássio M'Boy auditorium, with 150 people capacity assigned for lectures, artistic performances, and music and theater performances. 
Josefina Azteca Room exhibits up to April 9, the exhibition Art - Feminine Substantive, uniting Embu das Artes eight plastic artists' works. Ana Moysés Room has works from Sacred Arts Museum where dance, piano, flute and City Band workshops are performed. 
In front of the Center,   "Embu das Artes ao Vivo" is located, where the city artists assembled and extension of their atelier, therefore people could accompany all creative process of painters, sculptors, ceramic workers and blacksmith in real time.

Indian Museum  

Indians were the first inhabitants of Embu das Artes, they still present in the local culture. In the Indians Culture Information Center (CICI), designed by plastic artist and writer, Walde-Mar de Andrade e Silva, the Brazilian Indian culture could be closely observed. Located in the historic center of the city, CICI is the space to research and discuss themes such as Indian nations; ethnic groups; habits, food habits, arts (plastic, music, oral and ornamental dance); languages, beliefs and rituals, community life aspects and the relation with nature and environment.

Access: at number 2530 on Av. Elias Yazbek, next to Embu return, at Rod. Régis Bittencourt km 282. A main access is foreseen at Av. Vereador Jorge de Souza.

Sakai Memorial

Being inaugurated at the end of November 2003, Sakai Memorial of Embu unites plenty of plays of Tadakiyo Sakai artist, among the main representatives of the terracotta sculpture in Brazil, who is respected by his creations and works originality. The monitors guide the visitor to know aspects of Sakai life, his awards, students and admirers. 
Memorial is a cultural space with periodical exhibitions of other plastic artists in addition to the museums exhibiting the master works, his students and the ceramic school .
